Isn't that biased as alot of people run around saying. I've been reading from the site for almost a year now on gaming news and they are pretty fair and funny. Though Plunket is the least of optimists most of the time.
Just makes me long for MGS4 to have had it's covers in the same style as MGS3 and MGS2. I don't like old snake staring me down on the cover saying "Do you have a extra cigarette?".
A current Gen Legacy of Kain game would totally f***ing rock if they pulled it off the right way. Keep the story awesome and the gameplay awesome (more like Soul Reaver gameplay less like Blood Omen) and i'd buy it in a heartbeat. Hell even if it was Blood Omen 3 i'd probably still buy it in a heartbeat. Imagine what they could do with some of the dark gifts and environments with this gen's tech .
But i'm saying for me (and others) to have been more surprised would have been a comparison to MGS4's story. Hell even MGS3's story was fantastic and that was the first mgs game i played and i felt a connection to the characters. But BIOSHOCK is a nice comparison for a emotionally connected storyline.

I have to say i would have really been more intrigued if it would have been "Gears of War 2 more emotionally attached than MGS4". Now that would have turned more heads.

I myself is trying to get the foxhound rank right now (2nd playthrough) and no i do not have the solar gun or anything like that i have to use the mk22 and mosin nagat alot. Currently fighting screaming mantis and i've only used 4 hours and 7 minutes. At first i thought MGS4 would head to the 360 a year later like you said (like what happened with mgs2) but after playing the game i'm skeptical about it now. I'm not so sure it'll make it to the 360 specially since it's selling like hotcakes.

But fallout 3 looks better to me than diablo 3. Diablo 3 looks environments that i seen look like some of the environments in hell that i seen in God of War. I'm a big third person perspective lover of video games personally but even looking at Fallout 1 and 2 i like it better than the settings of diablo 1 and 2. The post nuclear environment appeals to me more than a demon world.
by how people say it's a movie. It took me 27 hours to beat the game and the cutscenes amount to 8 hours in total. Seriously though MGS4 is a good game, not the best ever but a really good game that anyone should enjoy playing.

CQC because i have no need to use a weapon slot since i'm a pretty good shooter not great but i get the job done. The idea about the rations i'm not to sure about. I remember at first there was supposed to be some type of class where you would be the medic for the team (ala TF2 medic). The gekko idea would sort of kick ass but i don't know exactly how it'd work out. New maps are a given.
I love the music from SF3, Elena's stage music is the best though in my opinion "Beats in my head". Bubbles my good sir for being so awesome.

BIOSHOCK made the list and it's a new video game series. But with all due respect to resistance's fan, Resistance: Fall of Man is over rated. The gameplay is average and the story is a hodge podge with bad narrative direction. The weapons are probably the best weapons i've ever seen in a game and the A.I is great but unfortunately it doesn't make up for how average the rest of the game is.
